Great program and perfect for Mac users

Was so happy to find this program as I was frustrated with other billing software when I got my Mac. The integration between phone and Mac us great and the app is super user friendly.

Used to rely on it, new update is confounding

The new update to this app requires sign in to a "marketplace", and what the hell is that? Cant sign in now, and all my data probably lost too. I spent the $14.99 a year ago to use this app, and it should be more functional. Cant send pdfs (why would i want html?), and UI could be better. I relied on this app for my financial history, and now Im screwed.

Solid for small business

I usually dont write reviews, but this app paid for itself in 20 minutes. I have streamlined the billing/invoicing process for my small business (Brooklyn Tech Guy - Mac tech support) by a huge margin. Creating invoices was slow and sometimes inaccurate, causing me to loose money. Now it takes me a few minutes a day, my clients get professional invoices right away, and I make more money! Click buy, youll be happy you did.

Useless app

App crashed on sync and now crashes on start EVER SINGLE TIME. Closed app and rebooted phone. Makes no difference.

Feeling Thrown Under the Bus

Existing customer... Purchased the original standalone iPhone app w/ invoicing features, and the desktop app. App was never updated, and support for it completely dropped, now the ONLY option is to pay $100 per year for a cloud service (unless you have a web domain and an apple server). This is great for users who need it, but its completely cutting out the entry-level customers (unless they dont need to send invoices?) Not impressed with the new business model.

Nasty Bait and Switch, bad experience with previous product

I paid almost $15 for Billings Touch and $40 for the desktop version two years ago. It was a good solution for my needs, but they never bothered to update their software and never bothered to let Mac App Store customers know about the switch to their subscription-based service---not even push out an update to the store to tell their customers as such. Ill never trust Marketcircle to handle my business again.

Feeling misled and abandoned

What about all the users who bought and relied on the iPhone app? Seems like the customer base is abandoned. Wow! I need to start looking for new billing software. This is unreliable and a joke. Years pass without making countless needed improvements. Time to look elsewhere I guess.

You guys are crap.

I bought this app for iPhone and my Mac. And Ive been using it for 14 months for my business. Now you want me to pay 10$ a month just to send invoices. Ill find a 50$ app and buy that first. Im going with someone else for my billing. Goodbye.

Wont connect to self-hosted server

Connection works fine from the Mac, and iPhone, but wont connect to self-hosted server from iPad - in fact, wont connect at all, just sits at connecting and never does anything. What gives? iOS 7, iPad 4

Punishing Loyal Customers!!

After paying quite a bit of cash for Billings on my iPhone ($15) and on my Mac ($40), Marketcircle now has dropped support and sync for them, rendering them useless and forcing an upgrade to the new software, which costs $175!! All previous users are left out in the cold unless they want to pay the exorbitant fee. This is a terrible business model and borderline unethical considering how much I paid for this software in the first place. Yuck. Dont support Marketcircle.

New app, but what about previous owners

I purchased the older version for $15 to sync both my iPhone and Mac. They ceased to make updates and released a new app, forcing me to write about their buggy software and greedy ways. Would not buy, whats to stop them from doing it again?

Garbage

Marketcircle does not care about their customers. You have to be on subscription and use their unreliable cloud services to use this app which is outdated not just technology-wise but design-wise. Their app has the same design as it had years ago when it was introduced. Back to the point tho - their cloud services are unreliable to the point where I lost weeks of working slips and all invoices associated with those... Possible customers - BEWARE! Great job, Marketcircle! Is it that you just like grabbing money from your users and are lazy to work on your product or is it something else? Too many frustrated customers leaving your unreliable ------ services? Could be?

Big Disappointment

I am long time user of Billings and Marketclrcle decides to abandon Billings in favor of Billings Pro which is subscription base. But unfortunately their cloud base server has issues after several testing on my end. The data between my iPhone and desktop Mac don’t match after syncing. I could lose my freelance hours on this. Marketclrcle should at least give us the options of cloud base or Wi-Fi base (like Billings) while they are in the process of ironing out bugs.

Works great.

This is a great app. I use it in sync with the Billings Pro app for Mac to keep track of all my freelance hours for various clients. If you need it to, it can generate invoices, estimates, and anything else like that. Personally, I just use it to keep track of a lot of timers which ultimately get added into Harvest or sent out through Invoiceable, but I find this app indispensable.

Needs updating

I have been using Billings since Billings 3 and have enjoyed the Billings Touch app. This is even greater for me, because it syncs in the cloud. But... I would have expected ios7 interface updates. The old keyboard is horrible. Please take care of this. But functionality is exceptional. I have never had issues with Billings Touch or Pro.

Abandoned app

Although good looking and fancy but it has serious bugs in calculations. No updates on an app that charges a monthly fee? The app support page goes to a fancy page with 404 page not found error.

Cant create an account

Tried to create an account to try, message said couldnt sign up, server problem, then showed months old messages. Cant trust my business using a flakey app

App crashes after update

App is useless after update. Crashes as soon as you load it. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Now it crashes when trying to login. Dont upgrade if you read this!
